I have played football since I was six years old. When I got to high school, I knew that I wanted to play in college. However, getting recruited from the North for football is tough. Not only that, my senior year was also a covid year and our season was cut short, limited to only four games. With a lack of recruitment, I decided to play juco for a semester in the fall since I already committed to the University of Miami as a spring admit. Juco football was very tough. It was a constant grind from day to day. Shortly after the fall semester ended, I started Miami. I tried out for the football team as a walk on and ultimately made the team. For my first two years I was a redshirt and held to being on the practice squad, but that did not stop me. I competed on the same level that the full scholarships did and exceeded coaches expectations. I was the only walk on to rank in the top ten fastest on Miami's football team. It has been a long and hard grind to get here, but I work day in and day out to further and better my career as a college athlete.
